18 year Williams Anaka who hails from Ukum Local Government in Benue State has set another record by emerging as the youngest Pilot from Nigeria and Africa,Williams is the last child of Engr Bill Anaka,a former Commissioner of Works and Gubernatorial Aspirant in the State, For him,his pursuit as a Pilot started right from childhood and the  many challenges in life made him to make his PILOT career a success. Having  spent  1year 4months under training in South Africa ,this young man can now cruz the skies.Williams now has both Private and Commercial pilot License (PPL and CPL) The last recorded person who emerged as the youngest pilot in Nigeria was a 20 year old from Nigeria.We had a chat with him on phone after the thanksgiving organised for him by his family in Benue  and he had this to say.

Fabmimi...........Tell us a bit about yourself.

Williams...................Am young man full of determination, always setting targets for myself against something. Am a christian, God fearing one self #lolz;also had it as one of my DREAMS to know what makes an airplane fly, the physic behind it. I prayed to God to guide me steps and lead to it and he finally it ;)j.
Fabmimi...................and your experience what is it like.

Williams..................Flying was a totally new experience for me. I remember the first time I went solo, I couldn't believe I will land the plane all by myself, but through God. I was opportuned to land at night with no LANDING LIGHTS on the runway. I have had Communication Failures several times, Engine Failures, flew in extremely bad weather(OVC 006), heavy winds. All these gave me experience as a training pilot.

Fabmimi..........Where do you see yourself in future.

Williams..........My life wont just be all about flying. I got some targets to achieve like becoming and entrepreneur and securing my Safety Management System (SMS) in AVIATION certificate with will enable me manger an airline someday..
Fabmimi..............What's your advice for upcoming ones.

Williams...........My advice for the young ones,they should always believe in the power of WILL and determination. Set target and a time frame to work with. Associate yourself with people who have succeeded so as to remain focused. With God by your side, the Best is Yet to Come
