Study Free In Sweden,Finland,Norway:Free Tuition For Undergraduates and Postgraduates

While going through the pages of one of the local Newspapers here in Nigeria, I saw an advert about studying free in Sweden. I asked myself if this could ever be real and without wasting much time, I hooked to the internet and used my researching tricks to search for info about this. After much clicks I stumbled upon a lot of info which I have decided to share with you,for you to know that IT IS FOR REAL.

For many people who wants to enroll in colleges or universities to further their education, you will agree with me that tuition can be a make or break factor in the final decision. What if there are colleges where you do not have to pay any tuition fee? Well, there are many schools around the world that do just that.

You do not have to pay any tuition to attend tuition-Free schools, though there are still some expenses involved, such as room & board, books, etc. This can be covered in most cases, as many tuition free schools allow students to work while in school.

A lot of tuition free schools are in Europe, where this educational scheme has a long and successful history. As at the time of writing this article, there are many schools in Sweden, Norway, Finland that offer free tuition for undergraduate courses as well as for Masters and Doctorate degrees.
As at the time of writing this article, online registration for Masters Program in Sweden opens around first week of December and closes around second week of January, every year. Your documents must arrive no later than first week of February, Selection results/Notification of admission: Early May and semester starts August or September. You can always get the latest dates from the websites that you will find later in this article. Just relax and read on...

For Nigerians, I learnt that you can use your WAEC/NECO result to apply for undergraduate programs. In this case, it is better to send your scratch card so they can check the results by themselves for verification. For Masters degree, the university where you finished your first degree will have to send your transcripts to the schools you apply to.

In Nigeria right now, there are lots of seminars, adverts here and there by people who do claim to be agents/consultants. Most will promise heaven in getting your hard earned money, all in the name of helping you seek admission into Sweden.PLEASE, BE WISE AND DON'T FALL FOR SCAM EASILY. You can make enquiries by yourself on the websites shared below. Forums like Nairaland are also there to help you out with your enquiries.
If you want to start registration right now for Sweden free tuition schools visit, www.studera.nu
For Finland, visit www.admissions.fi

When you get to the sites above, they might not be in English. Just look at the top of the page or somewhere, you should see a link that will take you to the English version of the website
If you want to see what some Nigerians have been saying about this topic on Nairaland, you can visit http://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-26453.0.html . Wish to buy me a drink but can't afford it right now, provided that you are nice, then kindly use the comment form below this post to let me know that you appreciate this info.

How to create SMS Short Codes in Nigeria and Make Money

SMS marketing is now one of the most effective means by which you can spread your message to your target market with ease. This has led to many companies and agencies, using BulkSMS and "SMS short codes" for their promotions.

With a GSM short code, you can make GSM users to send you some information to a code. You make money in partnership with the company that issued the code, while you also have access to the phone numbers of the short code subscribers for other marketing purposes.

Below are some examples of how Short Codes can be used:

SMS Competitions e.g. How Low Reverse Auction by Splash FM 105.5
SMS Voting e.g. Big Brother Africa, Nigerian Idols etc
Text 2 Win promotions
Information services
SMS Quiz
Prize draws
Charity SMS donations
Redeemable mobile SMS vouchers
Subscription services
Political Campaigns etc

How Do I get the Code?

You will get the short code from an issuing company once you meet up with the requirements. Short code issuing companies exist in Nigeria and you might have stumbled on some while watching your favourite TV shows. You can contact the companies directly or via third-party agents that you trust.

Types of Short Codes

There are 3 types of SMS Short Code services, they are; Shared Short Codes, Dedicated Short Codes and Multi-Shared Short Codes.

How Much Do I need to Setup SMS Short Code Services?

Dedicated Short Code
Setup fee: N630,000 (Please note: The Price for setup is N 600, 000 while "Make Money Online Nigeria" takes N30, 000). Monthly fee: N100, 000. Setup time: 2-3months

Shared Short Code
Setup fee: N140,000 (Please note: The Price for setup is N 120, 000 while "Make Money Online Nigeria" takes N20, 000). Monthly fee: N15,000. Setup time: 2-3days

Multi Shared Short Code
Setup fee: N60,000 (Please note: The Price for setup is N 50, 000 while "Make Money Online Nigeria" takes N5,000). Monthly fee: N15,000. Setup time: 1 Day

How Much Do GSM Networks Charge?
Tariff (NGN) Visafone MTN Airtel Glo Etisalat
30.00 NGN 10.930 8.851 14.781 9.851 13.210
50.00 NGN 21.088 18.702 22.018 13.623 21.043
100.00 NGN 30.233 35.334 48.501 24.939 40.340

How Do I Make Money from the short code services?

How much you make from a short code depends on the agreed sharing percentage between you and the issuing company. On a neutral ground, the issuing company gets 50% while you get 50% too.

Once a GSM user responds to your GSM short code, lets say with an MTN number, MTN will deduct their own money immediately according to the table above. The remainder is now what you and the issuing company will share based on your agreement during the set up process.

So, if you advertise your short code , lets say in the Guardians Newspaper and about 2000 people respond on N100 per sms, you get 50% from the returns...aint that cool?

How Do I Get Started
To get started, please do the following;
1. You MUST have registered Business Name
2. You MUST be able to show the Proof of Business Ownership
3. You must provide a Documentation about usage of the short code
4. Copyright issue on the idea and bank statements/guarantee might be requested too depending on what you want to use the short code for. If you promise subscribers cash prices, TV etc, with the help of the bank statements, the issuing company will be able to ensure that you can provide what you promised once subscribers respond to your short code.

Send Money To Bank Accounts Without going to the Bank via Imobile

Gone are the days I use to go to the bank, wait for hours before I could even send just N1000 to another bank account in Nigeria, thanks to imobile powered by eTranzact mCommerce solution. With imobile, you can conduct banking transactions via your GPRS-enabled phone.

With my internet-ready mobile phone, whenever I want to send money to anyone, all I need to do, is to enter the details in the imobile software, together with my secret pin and the money will be sent asap, with the receiver even getting sms alert apart from the normal credit alert the receiver's bank might send to him/her.

The mCommerce solution is the first truly operational mobile banking application that works on all the GSM networks and PTO's platform extending the capability of the user's mobile into a highly interactive feature-rich payment device. eTranzact mCommerce is in line with international standards and all transactions are secured using an encryption technology.

So, How Do I Get Started?

I set up my imobile at INTERCONTINENTAL BANK because imobile is Intercontinental bank's mobile banking platform. So, if you already have an account with them and have at least, a GPRS-enabled phone, you are good to go. Just follow the steps below.

1. Go to Intercontinental bank and request for imobile form.

2. Fill the form with ur IBPLC account number, name, address, phone number and email address. You will not be asked for any document as at the time of posting this article.

3. After filling the form, wait for your etranzact details that will be printed on a paper for you, containing your card number, card expiration, registration code and email address.

4. You will also have to wait for your default pin to be issued to you. (Very important)

5. Using your GPRS-enabled phone, you will be told to text "D ICB" to 4045.

6. You will instantly get a reply on your phone, with the download link for the imobile software.

7. Just click on the link in the text and the download will start. Ensure you have enough credit for the download. The size is small. If you want to use free browsing code for it, may God help you... lol

8. Once the download completes, run the software and fill in your details in the printed paper obtained in Step 3, together with your default pin I talked about in Step 4.

9. If you fill in the correct details, you will get a text message that your card has been activated successfully.

10. Thereafter, launch the software again, go to "security", "change pin". Enter the default pin and your new pin. ( Very Important. Make sure you change your pin).

11. Once your PIN change is successful, you can start transacting via the imobile software.

12. To verify this, launch the software, go to "Banking", then choose "check balance". If everything is ok, you should get a text message on your phone with your bank account balance.

13. To send money to other bank accounts, go to "Banking", click on "Funds Transfer". Fill in the details needed appropriately, enter your secret pin and the money will be transferred asap.

Note: As at the time of publishing this, I am always charged N30 for every transaction's text message while N200 is been charged for every transfer to any other bank account apart from Intercontinental bank. Transfer to Intercontinental bank accounts is FREE.

You can also pay your DSTV/HiTV bills, PHCN bills etc. Just give it a try and you will love it.

That's all.

Well, you can transfer some money to my account, if you want to test if it really works... smiles****

GTB Bank also offers something similar and it is called gtMobile. In my future posts, I will be writing about it.

What Do I Need To Start Printing Recharge Vouchers In Nigeria?

he basic things you need to start printing recharge vouchers in Nigeria are:

i. A Computer (Not necessarily connected to Internet and not necessary it should
belong to you)
ii. A Printer (Coloured or black & white)

iii. Software that will be used in printing pin numbers on papers (this will be
installed onto your computer)
iv. Bulk pin (this, you will be buying from some major dealers)
v. Access to Internet, either at a cafe or personal Internet (this is needed once
in a while because whenever you pay for PINS, the major dealers will be send
them to you through email, IRRESPECTIVE of which part of Nigeria you are).

DON'T HAVE COMPUTER AND PRINTER? ...you too can be involved. There is a tool called "ORANGE BOX" which one of the major dealers will give out to you, for you to start printing recharge vouchers and start making your money.

It is not necessary that the computer belongs to you because these softwares are secured with LOGIN features i.e your dealer will give you the Username and Password which you will be using in accessing the software on the computer you installed it to.

The next step is to find a reputable major dealer to partner which will be ready to sell recharging PINS to you at a much reduced cost. There are many dealers out there from which you can be buying your Recharge PINS of ALL networks. You are going to be dealing with these major dealers and NOT DIRECTLY with MTN, GLO, ZAIN etc UNLESS you too want to be a MAJOR DEALER. Some of these dealers have websites while some DO NOT. If you are lucky to get those that have websites on the internet, you are good to go, though, you will be limiting yourself to ONLY these dealers that have websites.

Once you find a major dealer to deal with, you will need to register with them: This is absolutely free. What it entails, is for you to be known to the dealer either by name or by other means of identification which will always differentiate you from other sub-dealers.

Different dealers have different modes of operation. Some will require you to have access to computer and printer while some will not.

Once you register with some dealers that require you to have access to computer and printer, they will have your email address and then tell you to install their software on a computer which is not compulsory to be your personal computer. Some dealers give out their software free of charge while some SELL their software. A coloured or black and white printer and plain papers will also be needed for the printing of the recharge vouchers. If you have just N10, 000 startup capital, it will make sense to patronize a dealer which will give out the company software to you free of charge. All that will be required of you is just to order for a minimum of 100 recharging PINS which will be sent to you, probably through your email address once your payment has been confirmed.

Payments for PINS (vouchers are sold as PINS to the sub-dealers who need to print them) will be made to the company’s account number and accompanied by a text message stating how you want the PINS to be sent to you. You can always get your dealer account details from their website or through text messages once you contact them.

Once you pay into the dealer’s account, go ahead to send them a text message for them to be able to confirm the payment as early as possible. Note that it is important you call the dealers to confirm if they have on ground what you intend to buy before going ahead to make payment into their account.

Bulk order is very important in this business. The minimum order placement you can make is 100 units of any voucher denomination you want. Dealers sell PINS in 100s. You can’t pay and request for GLO 100 (99 PINS). Bit-by-bit orders are not allowed but you can sell in bits to your customers.

In case you do not have access to computer or if you hate computers, you can patronize dealers who provide alternatives to computers. One of such dealers provides an orange box with which you can start your recharge voucher printing business.

So far, I believe I have tried to enlighten you with the basics of this cool business and also how you can get started tomorrow.

CAN YOU GIVE ANSWERS TO THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS
How many GSM call centers are in the streets of Nigeria?
How many people use GSM phones in Nigeria?
How many recharge cards are loaded by both individuals and GSM call centers?
With these questions, you should know where I am heading to. Whether you believe it or not GSM has become an essential commodity in Nigeria. So what are you waiting for?

For those who are ready to go into the business and start making extra income with a start-up capital as low as N9, 500 or more, GO TO

How To Print Recharge Cards/Vouchers With A Free Software (Mtn, Glo, Zain etc)

This short note is for those who really want to start the recharge voucher printing business on a small scale or for those who just want to give it a try. You must have access to a computer before you can use this software, not compulsory that it is connected to internet. You can always sort the processes that involve internet at cyber cafes or anywhere you can get access to internet.

(The Picture above is one of the screenshots of the software)

Before engaging in this business, your computer and printer must be in good condition. Remove any virus from your computer by installing up-to-date antivirus; defragment your hard drive to increase speed, not compulsory though. You need business capital. You must have an active e-mail account.

These tips would help. Get your computer system and printer ready. Log on to the internet to open an email address if you are not having one before. Decide who suits you as your dealer. Log on to dealer’s website and complete a registration form. You need to provide an ID and password to easily access the software on your personal computer.

After registration with your principal dealer, a confirmation message will be sent to your email address. Check your e-mail and open your inbox for a confirmation message sent to you by your main dealer. This would serve as evidence that your details have been saved on the company’s data-base.

You may also visit your principal dealer at their office to get registered and start buying their PINS. This registration is free EXCEPT for some dealers that will ask you to pay for their software. Do not worry as there are is a FREE one out there,JUST KEEP READING.

Access your dealer’s website again so as to download the trading software onto your computer system. After downloading, install the software directly onto your desktop. This would be used from time-to time to print and manage your bulk PINS.

The next step is for you to get the recharge pins you will print with the software. You will get the PINS from your dealer. Call your dealers’ agent to confirm if they have on ground what you intend to buy before going ahead to make payment into their account, you can also ask them about the current prices they sell various recharge denominations of all the different networks. Thereafter, you can make payments to the company's account. After payment, send a text message to the dealer's agent to notify them about your payment details. Also with a text message, you can send a break down of your order to the agent E.g. “Send to me 200 units of N100 MTN, 500 units GLO and 200 units CELTEL N100. I have paid into your account”.

Copy these PINS from your mail and save it in a notepad or microsoft word document on your desktop. You can also save it in a flash drive, if you want to take the PINS to another computer not connected to the internet. The software has special features, one of which will ask you where you save the PINS and it will upload the PINS automatically. You will print and manage your encrypted PINS from this software after. Connect your printer to the computer and print in batches. You may inscribe your business name on the voucher if you wish. The software is so easy to use. The software has a USER'S GUIDE which can guide you through anything you want to do with the software. Already, you are on your way to making good profits from the venture.....

To get the FREE software, SEND A TEXT Message with your email address, phone number and state to 08050789657 or 07062918898

Once I receive your text, I will reply you within 24 hours of getting your text message.

NOTE: YOU CAN USE ANY PRINTER FOR THE PRINTING OF THE VOUCHERS, BE IT WHITE/BLACK OR COLOURED.

One thing I use to advise is the fact that, always try as much as possible to analyze different dealers before really venturing into the business. As a result of this, to make things easier for those that are ready to go into the business without wasting time searching here and there for info, I have compiled an easy to understand package of RECHARGE CARD DEALERS you can patronize, even if you do not have computer and printer.

(This is how the software and its userguide will be attached to the email you will receive from me)

For info on the TOP DEALERS IN NIGERIA from which you can buy recharge pins for as low as N93, with their respective contact addresses, phone numbers, web addresses, emails GO TO

Boko Haram Gives Southerners 3-Day Ultimatum To Leave Northern Nigeria

Normal.dotm 0 0 1 711 4057 huhuonline 33 8 4982 12.0 0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false

The dreaded Boko Haram Islamic sect has asked all Southerners living in the North to leave the region within three days or face the consequences. It also asked all Hausa people living in the Southern part of Nigeria to leave the area since there is going to be

a reprisal attack on them as a result of the sect's next moves.

The group, while asking all Christians to vacate the North and threatening to confront the security agencies, further said the State of Emergency issued in some Northern parts of the country would only result in the killing of innocent people since the actual members of the group are difficult to know.

Spokesman of the sect, Abul Qaqa, disclosed that Christians in the North had only three days to leave the area.

"We find it pertinent to state that soldiers will only kill innocent Muslims in the local government areas where the state of emergency was declared. We would confront them squarely to protect our brothers.

"We also wish to call on our fellow Muslims to come back to the North because we have evidence that they would be attacked. We are also giving a three-day ultimatum to the Southerners living in the Northern part of Nigeria to move away," Qaqa said in Hausa language.

FUEL SUBSIDY REMOVAL: NLC STRATEGISES FOR MASS ACTION

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) yesterday met with leaders of state chapters ahead a mass action against fuel subsidy removal. The Federal Government on Sunday announced commencement of deregulation of the downstream sector of the oil industry.

Following the decision, petrol stations now sell PMS (petrol) between N150 and N250 per litre.

In its reaction to the development, NLC yesterday convened a meeting at the Labour House in Abuja.

Speaking to Daily Sun on the outcome of the meeting, the Acting National Secretary of NLC, Comrade Owei Lakemfa, said the union has resolved to fight with its last pint of blood to stop the fuel subsidy removal.

He said: 'We held series of meetings today and we have agreed to fight with all that we have to stop this evil policy. We will not allow it to stand.'

Outlining steps to be taken by Labour in the next couple of days, Lakemfa said the union will today (Tuesday) hold an enlightenment programme at Tejuosho, Yaba secretariat. He explained that the meeting is to educate traders, market women and the masses on the role(s) they are expected to play during the planned mass action. He said the NLC leaders will meet today with the leadership of Trade Union Congress (TUC) and state chairmen of NLC to agree on the date the mass action will commence.

He said: ' We have a clear programme of events. Tomorrow (today), we are holding an enlightenment at Tejuosho, Yaba, Lagos. We will hold an all embracing meeting of stakeholders to set a date for the kick-off of mass action'.

Lakemfa noted that the focus of yesterday's meeting with state NLC chairmen was how they should begin mobilization of workers and the masses ahead the protests. 'We agreed they should begin to mobilize workers and the public for the strike', he said. Primarily, he noted that the state chairmen were asked to advise the masses on the need to stockpile foodstuffs and other things that will assist them to endure the long strike.

'People have to be told that they should make adequate provisions so as to fight till the end'. He disclosed that all vital economic points would be grounded during the protest. 'We will not spare any sector-airports, seaports etc will be grounded', he vowed, stressing that 'it will be the mother of all protests. This government is taking people for a ride, but we will show that this nation belongs to all of us'.

Also, National Chairman of Labour Party (LP), Dan Nwanyanwu, said the party has resolved to join forces with Labour to stop the subsidy removal.

He said: 'We will fight with NLC and the people of this country to stop Jonathan and his government in this anti-people policy'.

He urged Nigerians to unite and show that they elected this government and therefore cannot be treated like lepers. 'Unless all of us say no to this, government will wake up tomorrow and take a harsher decision. We have all it takes to stop the policy and we must do that now'.

12 Ways I Make Money Online as a Nigerian

Nigerians from making money online. Mind you, I don't waste my time engaging in schemes like Surveys, Paid to Read Emails. Believe it or not, I make money everyday. In this post, am highlighting ways I make money online for you. I hope you will be able to grab some ideas from it.

BLOGGING

My blog, www.ogbongeblog.com is my office on the internet. I started it in 2008, when I was a final year MicroBiology student. Yes, am a Microbiology graduate but I have decided to follow my passion, which makes me to be where I am today. My blog wasn't really making sense when I started but I so much believe it will grow with time and am so glad it's making a lot of sense now. All praises to God..

I use my blog to share things I know with people all around the world while also using it to promote all I do. The blog, makes money for me directly and indirectly. The more I share things I know, the more I win the trust of many people and when people trust you, they will find it easy to buy things you sell.

1. Money from Google Adsense

I make money consistently from Google Adsense. Google Adsense allows me to place some Google ads on my blog. If you click on those Google ads, Google pays me. I receive my payment in form of checks which Google sends to me here in Nigeria via DHL and I cash the checks at GTBank via my dormiciliary account. I make cool money monthly from Adsense....you too can. God willing, I hope to be making more than this in years to come.

Adsense is a good way to make money but it takes time. If you are the greedy type looking for a fast way to make money online, Adsense is not for you because once you try fooling Google, you will get banned for life. Trust me. You will need to have a blog before you can start making money from Adsense. Check out my Google Adsense Tutorials to learn more about Google Adsense.

2. Money from Selling ebooks and softwares

I make money selling ebooks and softwares. I advertise most of those ebooks and softwares I sell via my blog posts and also some via www.jideweb.com I receive payments directly into my bank accounts because most of the people that buy from me for now are mostly Nigerians. I hope to explore the international market in the future though....

Those that trust me, pay into my account and I deliver what they pay to them as soon as possible. I confirm payments with the help of my bank credit alerts and also via Internet banking. You too can make money selling ebooks even without writing any ebook by yourself. I can teach you....

3. Money from Setting up Blog for others/ Redesign

I make money redesigning other people's blogs. Some people who love my blog do ask me to redesign theirs while some pay me, just to create new blogs for them too. If you master the art of blogging, you too can start making money this way...

4. Money from advert placement

I make money helping some people to advertise their services right on my blog. Your blog must be big before people might be interested in paying you for this kind of service. I also make money helping some people to advertise their businesses using Google Adwords and Facebook Ads. You too can start making money rendering these services, if you learn the basics.

5. Money from Reviews and JVs

Some people do pay me to write about their websites on my blog. I also go into Joint- Venture partnership atimes, just to promote a product. If I help the partner to make some sales, I get paid.

BulkSMS Business

6. Make money selling bulksms

I make money selling bulksms at www.ogbongesms.com. Customers pay into my bank accounts and I credit their accounts once I confirm their payment. I also do help some clients in sending customizeSMS and I charge them for helping them, aside the money I make from the sale of sms units to them.

7. Make money selling BulkSMS Proposal letters and Ebook

I have an ebook that explains how to set up bulksms website with a capital as low as N4000 ( without SMS). I sell the ebook for N5000 and trust me, it sells. I also sell Sample Proposal Letters which you can use to get BulkSMS contracts from churches, businesses, schools etc

8. Make Money setting up SMS website for others

I also make money setting up BUlkSMs website for those that do not have time reading an ebook to set it up by themselves. I charge N10, 000 for this service and those interested keep paying....

Other ways I make money Online are highlighted below:

9. Make money from web design

I design websites for clients based on what they want and I get paid in return. If you dont know how to design websites, go and learn it, so you can start making money from this service asap. Go and learn how to use "Wordpress" or "Joomla" and you will be able to start designing cool websites for clients.

10. Make Money from domain name registration

I make money registering domain names, especially for bloggers wanting to change their blogspot address to dot com. You too can, if you know or learn how to do it.

11. Make money from Facebook services...

Some people do pay me to help them customize their Facebook Fan pages while some do pay me to help them advertise their products/services on Facebook.

12. Make Money from unlocking modems

Yes, I make money unlocking fastlink modems, Glo NetPro modem and Airtel modems for people intrested in using other network sim cards on their 3G modems. Those interested do send me recharge vouchers which I use to pay for my internet subscriptions. I also sell the Unlockers to those interested in return for cash.

These are not the only ways of making money, just that those above are the ones I concentrate on for now.

Affiliate Marketing, Site Flipping etc are other ways you can make money online but am not really exploring them for now.
