Residents were stricken with shock when a woman was found inside a drainage close to Abalti Barracks in Ojuelegba, Lagos state.

The woman, identified as Amudat Jimoh, was discovered by a passer by who heard her crying for help through the peep hole between the drainage slab.

The woman was removed from the drainage after a welder cut the iron bars and a volunteer went in to bring her out.

Jimoh was thereafter interrogated by army men from the barracks and she revealed her identity and claimed she was sent by God.

“My name is Amudat Jimoh, It was God that sent me here. He said I should confess my sins so that I don’t die, please I need water to drink, help me. I don’t know how I found myself here, please help me”, she said.

Many didn’t believe her story as some suggested she was a witch who got trapped while flying, while others thought she just fell into the gutter by accident.

Jimoh was taken to the hospital for medical check up.
